During the meeting they have reviewed the results of the cooperation up to the present and have expressed their mutual intention to extend cooperation into other areas of science and education. The Rector of our university has welcomed the participants of the conference on tourism at Pyatigorsk organised by the North-Caucasus Federal University, and gave a plenary lecture on the historian conference titled "The Methodological Problems of State Succession and Division of Property in the 20th century".
In the 2nd section of the „Regional Narratives of Imperial Peripheral Areas” history conference organised by Igor Krutchkov, Attila Kolontári gave a lecture on the cooperation of Hungarian, German political and military circles and Russian White émigré groups, while Gábor Albert gave a lecture on the changing attitudes in textbooks towards Tzarist Russia. In the course of the excessively crowded and rich program there was also time to take an excursion, to discover the memorabilities in the region, and not the least to get a taste of Caucasian cuisine and warm hospitality. We sincerely hope that the ever expanding and deepening cooperation between our universities will provide other colleagues partaking in the joint work with similar experiences of this particular, exciting, and special world.
